We are in a mess and need to know what to do and who is in charge. Well to answer the latter. Both are in charge. The President controls the nations borders, its entry and exit., He also controls or has a major influence in the dolling out if federal dollars. The Governors have States Rights behind them.If a state decides to do something that does not violate federal law, they can do it. Now let's talk about what is most important. How do we start to fix this mess. My priorities start with fixing a broken and dysfunctional school system. The present crisis gives the American people a area chance to correct many of the problems effecting the education of our children. In a society where the average family is headed by a woman )mother) head of the household. That number increases to nearly 85 percent in the black household. Om both situations it is not feasible to think home schooling will totally fix the problem. The mother has to work. We can spend the money on thinning the classroom size to something that is manageable. Hire unemployed mothers ir fathers as teacher assistants to help manage children deportment. Bring books back in the classroom to encourage reading and limit the first 4 to 5 years of learning to reading, writing, arithmetic and social behavior.
